Temper Tantrum

This afternoon we put Kenny down for a nap. He was out for a good amount of time and seemed sound asleep. That all changed when he woke up, clearly waking up on the wrong side of the crib. It was clear he was having his first temper tantrum. We are not really sure what set him off since he woke up crying. Once we got him downstairs we thought he would want some milk and go about his normal happy way, but those were not his plans. Instead he laid on the floor with his back arched, kicking and screaming and every once in a while he would roll across the room. Still crying, of course. This chaos lasted about 10 minutes, then I took him back to his room and put him back in his crib (as he hit me all the way up the stairs) and walked out of his room. Guess he realized there was not a good reason to act like that anymore so we left him in there for a good 10 minutes longer and went back to get him. When we went back he was the happy little boy we see every day! I am not sure if that was the best way to keep the peace, but it worked!
