Santa In Quail Valley

Kenny and I have been taking the kids out at night around our neighborhood to look at christmas lights. The other night we came across a street that had a ton of lights (almost like a pathway) from one house to the next.

We saw a sign that said Santa's house so we turned down that street and ended up in a cul da sac.

In the Cul da sac was the North Pole.

I know, how awesome is that!

So we came home and started to research what the heck this was and why it was in our neighborhood. What we found out was that it is a tradition for the folks on this street. Each year they put this North Pole together and "Santa" sits in his chair on the weekend for several hours each night and takes pictures with who ever stops by ( you have to bring your own camera) and best of all...IT IS FREE!

So the other night we decided to stop by again to show Kenny since he had fallen asleep the first time we found it. When we pulled up SANTA WAS THERE! We were able to snap pictures using our iphones. The kids were in thier pajamas since we were hoping they would fall asleep while we were driving around.

waiting in line for pictures, Kenny was so excited!
