We took our anniversary trip to Indiana this year. Not really by choice, but because two of our close friends were getting married there and it happed to be the same month we got married. We did not want to take two trips so we made that our anniversary trip and stayed a few days after the wedding was done. We had a good time visiting with friends, meeting new friends and just enjoying our short trip with out the kids! The wedding was on a Friday so that left all day Saturday for us to enjoy time alone and see the city. We stayed in Kentucky just across the river from Indiana. The highlight of our Saturday was our stop at the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory. We got to see them making bats and see the museum. We did not leave empty handed either, we bought 9 bats! Engraved with names for the kids and some christmas gifts too! We also made a stop at the History museum that was across the street. We ended the night with a fancy dinner with the new bride and groom! It was a fun time, but it was nice to get back home to the kids.
