What's Been Going On......

WOW! The last few weeks have been so very stressful around here. Seems as if our little Reese has a little bit of Colic, and that makes for one tired mommy. It has certainly taken a toll on me physically and emotionally. Plus it does not help that Kenny has started to travel again leaving me on my own to deal with a newborn and a two year old who seems to be going through his terrible two's from time to time. I am thankful my parents live less than 3 miles from our house! My mom has managed to make it over here every day, even if it's just for a few hours to help with the kids. I still have not fully recovered from my c section and won't be released for regular activity until mid September. I do feel much better than I did two weeks ago and can actually get up and down the stairs now. Looks like we have a lot to learn about being parents of two small children, and how to get them on the same schedule seems to be the biggest challenge thus far. It will happen. It will take time. We will need to learn to be more patient with the kids and with each other. It has certainly brought us closer together. That makes me happy and if momma is happy, everyone is happy!
