WOW! I can hardly believe Kenny is 15 months. The best way to describe him is that he is a whirlwind of activity and curiosity, wanting to touch everything that is in his path. I must say, parenting at this age is much like a balancing act for us. We try to give him the freedom to explore but also want to keep him safe. I put together a list of his milestones.
He says momma, dadda, no, go, and bye bye (in sign language he tells us eat and more)
He will shake his head no if he doesn't want something
He walks holding on to furniture, however the other day he took 3 steps on his own
He loves to climb the stairs
He drinks only from a sippy cup
He is still taking 2 naps a day
He is learning body parts and points to them (nose and ear)
He loves to look at books and enjoys reading books with his daddy
He will only eat if he can feed himself and he is very picky about what he eats (pancakes, blueberries, bananas and crackers only)
He waves and gives kisses
He has become a little chatterbox
He has a mouth full of teeth, all but 4 of them!
We are so blessed with a happy-go-lucky little boy! He makes us smile and keeps us laughing all the time.
